The fact that a person appears not to be afraid of getting hurt or of pain does not make that person heartless or sadistic. It actually is a trait of people who have been let down a lot and who have come to expect hurting and pain as much a part of the reality of living. They are the ones who take chances with trusting new acquaintances , you find them willing to take risks with others for they have accepted the reality of human interaction as not always smooth and rosy.

These persons also you will find, are very forgiving and highly successful in life and in relationships. This being due to the fact that they understand pain, hurting and have learnt to navigate them in beautiful and forgiving ways. Never assume that such persons are unfeeling, rather realise that they have big hearts and have been most likely disappointed so much in their lives by people anyone would have least expected.

For them, every relationship new or old is a second chance of either getting hurt or finding bliss; yet they have the courage to actually take the step. They speak their minds and seldom hold back honest criticism, because they know it’s more painful to water down the truth. When they love, they are genuine and accepting of flaws and all. They are like soldiers in body and spirit; dauntless and forward ever in their march. If you ever find such an aloof spirit, treasure them, they are always worthwhile!
