Amnesiac
A poem
half my drink later, the dark fell fast could she drive me home would our safety last I made it to bed, but she slept in her car with her foot on my driveway the car door ajar do you remember this night asked after a decade the memory loss made us both afraid so tell me bartender, what was your plan after dropping the drugs waiting until neither could stand tell me is this what your mother meant by grow into a man?
