American Military Bases In Philippines, How Big of A Threat Does It Pose To China?

United States Will Not Stand Still, Incase of Danger.

China has been working on some serious advances within the so called “South China Sea”, where China not only bullied and sent threats to some countries, but started doing something that nobody could have thought China is capable of.

The main decision for building American bases, which today are established in Philippines, was to protect Taiwan, a critical country that is responsible for manufacturing chips of all kinds, if China would have ever take a hold of Taiwan, China would weaponize Taiwan, and the whole world would suffer, and electronic prices would most likely rise, like never before.

Philippines is extremely close to Taiwan, Philippines despite having not necessarily welcoming people that support United States, Philippine president agreed to station American troops within its country, allowing them to build military bases within their own territory.

If China would ever try to further provocate Taiwan, or possibly attacking it, United States would by no means stand still. United States is the main supplier of weapons to Taiwan, and American president, Joe Biden, has promised that Taiwan would be defended, in other words, United States would come to help Taiwanese, with all its arsenal.

However, I think it is important to point out, that a war between China, Taiwan and United States, would be fought drastically differently, these would be two giants(USA and China) fighting against each other in an open war. Chinese military is nowhere near to reaching US military standards, I would not suggest that United States would experience any tragical losses if a war would break out, as China would most likely be left alone in this conflict.

Russia has suffered enormous loses, already. I doubt that Russia would come to China’s help, however, it’s possible. The sad reality is that a war of this type would more than likely involve nuclear weapons. I don’t imagine China losing and not being forced to use desperate moves, in order to get rid of United States.

Currently, China has started building islands within South China Sea, which China later FULLY militarized, and these islands are still, up to this day, standing. China is trying to expand its influence even further, China in the past violated other country territories, by illegally entering their waters, and, of course, China has claimed that this is their territory.

Philippines stand as a serious military deterrent to China, China currently is well aware that there are US military vessels in Philippines, so any direct conflict with Taiwan, would leave China fighting two countries. And based on what I wrote recently, China’s economy is crumbling, the last thing China wants is to further weaken their economy by starting a war. Currently, China does not recognize Taiwan’s independence, and is claiming that Taiwan belongs to China.

If this war would ever sprung out, it would be one of the largest wars ever fought, both sides would suffer, both China and United States, this war would put to test Chinese military capabilities, which already aren’t impressive. China is recognized to having more naval vessels, however, these numbers are extremely exaggerated, as China has more lesser armored naval vessels.

Taiwan for a long time has been preparing for this war, even without US intervention, China would face enermous losses if they would ever dare to take over Taiwan, as Taiwanese air to ground missiles would destroy Chinese vessels, most likely.
