Am I Right, Or Am I Wrong?
A poem.
What is being right? What is being wrong?
If I rob a bank, Am I wrong?
What if I had a struggling family at home? Starving to death, Can I rob the bank to buy food?
Or maybe not a bank, Maybe a supermarket; But a big one, Not a familiar side one.
The answer is no, It is still wrong. But the why changed.
So, The right and wrong, Need a second question… Are you doing that for the money, Or to put food on the table?
Just like the kid at school, When the teacher asks: How much is 1+1? The teacher may be thinking in 2, But depends…
A couple, Waiting for a baby… Is 1 female + 1 male, But the result may differ…
This article is a response to Joseph Lieungh prompt…
“At the level of humanness, we see right and wrong as guide markers. At what point or level do we no longer see right and wrong?”
