Every writer has their own motivation to write. Some write for name and others write for fame. Many write for money while few write for followers.
Those few writers writing for followers have gradually increased in number thanks to the rise of Web 2.0. Web 2.0 has changed the way we write forever. Writing is no longer just about writing what we want to write about or what we feel at the spur of the moment.
The very motive of writing has broadened to predicting what the readers want to read, and serving them with the particular piece of writing their palate desires.
Writers know they are judged by their strength. And their strength comes from the number of followers they have.
Writers like Tim Denning and Ayodeji Awosika have cemented their legacy as popular writers because of their magnificent following. No matter what they write, we readers click the link and devour their content like some hungry maniac who hasn’t eaten for days.
There are many other popular writers who hold a similar stature in my eyes. Sean Kernan, Zulie Rane, Isaiah McCall, Jenn Leach, August Birch, Casey Botticello, and J.J. Pryor are just a few I can name.
Every article these writers post are nothing short of a ‘Wow!’
So, why would someone bother reading an article of mine when I don’t even have half of 1000 followers with me?
If you’ve been on Medium for almost a year, and have not even impressed 500 people, you might even consider yourself a loser.
That’s what I thought!
Not until I opened my profile one day and realised I had 333 followers.
I know it may be a negligible figure for you, but it’s a lucky number for me, you see.
Call it the angel number or the divine digits, but seeing this perfect alignment of three ‘3’s is what made me believe in numerology once again.
I decided to decode the meaning of seeing 333 and understand what the guardian angels are trying to tell me.
333 stands for the holy trinity
If you are a Christian and religiously follow the Bible, you will know what the holy trinity means. It stands for the father, the son, and the holy spirit. In other words, it represents the holy trinity.
333 is exactly half of the devil’s number or 666. It stands for the human connection with the Christ Consciousness and the Trinity.
333 stands for the perfect balance
The perfect balance means the balance of the mind, body and spirit. When your mind, body and spirit are in alignment, you are calm and are at peace.
333 means move forward
The number 333 also acts as an alert. It means the guardian angels are trying to warn you that the journey ahead will be a bumpy one. At times, you may lose hope, but you should never give up. Rather than giving in to such temptations, you should continue moving forward in life. It is a challenge to your determination, willingness and self-confidence.
333 stands for socialisation
The number 333 has significance in the field of tarot reading too. In tarot, the number ‘3’ represents the Empress who is a sensual, fertile and sociable woman.
The number 333 signals you to be like the Empress. It urges you to work on your communication and refrain from avoiding social circles. The number 333 hints at the need for increased social interaction.
Numerology Decoded
After enlightening myself with the holy significance of the number 333, I tried to decode its meaning in my life.
These are my findings.
- Holy Trinity: Believe in God. Believing in God does not mean you need to be a Christian, a Hindu or a Muslim. You can just believe in the God you choose to believe in, which can be a person, an entity or simply an energy. For me, God is positivity. Believing in God helps me stay positive, and continue my writing journey on Medium without falling victim to any negative energy.
- Perfect Balance: Maintaining a perfect balance means to write what you know, what you believe in and what you want to write about. Strike a balance between the art of writing, editing and engaging with the audience. Joy is in balance. And balance is key- the key to open up the cage and let the stressed bird out of yourself. Just enjoy the process.
- Move forward: There will be times when I won’t feel like writing at all let alone reading others’ articles. There will also be times when I put a lot of energy on writing an article, but get disappointed to see it getting a mere handful of views. Despite all the adversities, I must remain determined and continue my writing journey. I must always remember that earning money was never the main purpose. I write because I love writing. I enjoy spending hours pouring my brains on to some idea to see it change to words, sentences and then a whole story in its entirety.
- Seek social interaction: A writer’s life is definitely a lonely life. But that’s only when I write. As soon as that’s done, I’m a marketer. We’re living in a small world of self-publishing aren’t we? Who’s going to promote my stories? C’mon! Read, clap, comment and highlight. But all with good intentions. Mean it when you do it.
