Am I Doomed?

Are My Short-form Articles Too Short?

In just a few months on Medium since May 2023, I joined the Partner Program and earned a small income from my writing — an achievement I’m proud of!

Little strokes fell great oaks — Benjamin Franklin

I found a lot of success in my modernized Anansi shorts/jokes in The Shortform publication.

Also, If you’re into writing short-form pieces, please check them out.

Although Medium has released an article that thoroughly explains how and why these changes were made, I still fear for my short-form content might take a hit (See the 30-second rule). A lot of my shorts are a one-minute read and can be easily read quicker.

As of the first week of August, I haven’t earned a penny…

Still, through all of this, I will still continue to make short-form content and improve my craft. Going forward, I will share my wins, losses, and lessons. Stay tuned!
