Altruism
Sowing Kindness and Seeds of Love
This poem came to me after completing a collage I was doing with a friend last summer. It is very short and I thought it also gave rise to the inner voice that prompted me in that moment.
Like the sacred echoes of the breeze Of selfless souls that roam Dancing among life’s varied art With open hands and giving hearts
Sowing seeds of love Help is given unmotivated by a future uncertain reward This flame of kindness bright That dispels the shadows of the night
The sun’s enduring ray Brings warmth and hope to light the way Let those eyes yield to sparkles glow As a testament to love that flow.
Grateful for prompts and inner voices.
