Alone In The Wilderness
Coping With The Anxious Moments After The Storm
He felt burdened with every step forward, his heart told him to go back, but the return was no less than a defeat.
Little and sweet Bella wanted to read more, but her village only had schools up to primary.
When her mother felt the candle of knowledge burning within her daughter, she sent her to her mother in the city, so that her little Bella could receive further education.
Bella began to see her future bright in the light of the city, high buildings, and big houses began to make her dreams bigger, she enrolled in a school in the city and a few days made a home in everyone’s hearts.
Very intelligent, very simple, and the most loving and compassionate little Bella became the center of attention.
Every mother in the city started explaining to her child by giving the example of little Bella’s ability.
Little Bella always remembered her mother’s advice, "My dear daughter, never be weak, always be silent because silence is the strongest and best weapon, like your mother, face every difficulty with courage and bravery."
Then suddenly a storm came in her life which left her weak and despondent as she faced it.
Bella’s uncle was involved in petty thefts in the city and then one night he and some of his associates robbed some passengers on a moving train.
Little Bella found out when the police came to their house and arrested Bella’s uncle and put him in jail.
The next morning, when Bella went to school, every child in the school was looking at her suspiciously, her classmates spread the words like wildfire in the school that, Bella’s uncle was a thief. Every teacher who came to lecture in the class would call her by name and then ask her if your uncle really stole? and Bella would nod in the affirmative.
And then slowly Bella’s ability was lost somewhere, now everyone started looking at her as a thief, and everything that went wrong in the class was blamed on little Bella. And then in the whole school, if a child or a teacher lost something, Bella would be blamed.
Bela would be made to stand with her hands raised all day for punishment. Sometimes, teachers would beat the sticks on Bela’s soft hands and Bela’s hands would turn red.
Once a child complained to the teacher that Bella had eaten all of the child’s lunch, and then the teacher hit Bella on the hand, breaking Bella’s thumb.
Bella endured all this silently, reminding her every time that her mother said, "It is the work of brave people to face every difficulty and failure with bravery and courage."
After every evening, little Bella sat on the roof of the house, looking suspiciously at the lights of the tall towers, tall buildings and thinking in her heart, “These lights are no less than the embers of a fire, these lights steal the dreams from small and innocent eyes, the splendor of the city is no less than a deception.”
She often thought in her heart that the people of my village must be poor but they are very big of heart, they do not punish as big a crime as the people of the city.
Every night as she fell asleep, she would pray that the night would never end because each day was no less than a front to little Bella.
Every day she took every step forward to go to school, she felt a burden, the thought of going back weakened her will to leave her studies and go back to the village was nothing less than a defeat.
Every way to school feels like a wilderness to her. She feels as if she is going to a forest instead of a school, every child in the school felt like a wild animal that could attack her at any moment with its sharp claws and sharp blood-sucking teeth, and every teacher seemed to be an expert hunter who never missed an opportunity to punish her.
Now everyone did not call her worthy Bella but called her a thief and a thief’s daughter. She had no friends. Now his excellent writing and memorized lessons and his solved math questions on the whiteboard were not batting an eye.
While going to school every day, she feels that she is going to a front and she does not know how long this front will last, every day some new accusations were thrown at little Bella, some punishments were proposed for her and she returned home from school in defeat with many bruises.
After serving a two-year sentence, his maternal uncle was released from prison and went abroad. Little Bella continued her studies despite all these difficulties and then one day came that little Bella passed the matriculation exam with good marks, and won the first position in the district.
She wanted to tell people that no crime goes too far, she was not a thief. Now everyone was praising her, people were saying that the girl from the village had achieved district-wide success which our children could not achieve.
And then Bella’s hopes are dashed when she hears everyone in town talking about the thieves' daughter winning first place in the district.
Little Bella got a huge punishment for the sin she did not commit. She defended herself many times but failed every time and finally, she left the city and went back to her village. She knew that no matter how successful and popular she became, she would never be good in the eyes of the people, But many times humiliation and disgrace never leave a person.
