Almost Made it Across Without Anyone Noticing
Six-word photo story challenge: Freestyle
Crossing the road in the last light.
Another one of those unique moments of living in Africa.
We were on a road trip through the desert and I say we while I do not know who was sitting next to me. But I wasn’t alone. There was someone I was just telling about the stunning sunset happening behind us.
I looked back in the rear mirror and only then I saw the antelope. The springbok had almost made it across the road without anyone noticing.
But then we did see her.
And we did see the painted clouds in the background. Such a beautiful evening it was.
