I started writing on Medium in December 2020 and it changed my life forever.
I always wanted to write a blog and tell people about my life. I wanted to share my journey with everyone. I thought of starting a blog back in 2018 but could do it.
I did not know what was stopping me at that time. Maybe I was not determined enough at that time. I kept making excuses and kept pushing the work.
Maybe I was afraid of the work required to build the blog or maybe I was afraid of writing in public. Whatever the reason was, I just could not do it.
Then the pandemic occurred at the start of 2020 and I thought that was a perfect time. Still, I could not muster the courage to start the blog.
Finally, the turning point came in December 2020 when I realized the time was passing by. I just said, “F*ck it, I am gonna do it.”
I have never looked back since then. I have published over 100 articles and made almost $1000 on Medium.
Writing is one of the most joyous things I have done in life.
In the beginning, things were not easy. I did not where to start and what to write about. As I started writing articles, I started generating more and more ideas.
Writing has given me so much. These are the benefits I have experienced since I started writing:
