All the Raindrops in the World
A Poem
All the raindrops in the world couldn’t match the tears that spilled from my face when you left me
All the raindrops in the world couldn’t match the river of terminal sorrow that flows through me
All the raindrops in the world couldn’t fill a pool with greater depth than my love for you
All the raindrops in the world poured down on me and drowned me in their watery tears
And all this time you sat by, idle as all the raindrops in the world filled an ocean with my despair
Thank you for leaving me Because if you hadn’t I would spend my whole life counting all the raindrops in the world
