Summary

The web content discusses the transcendental nature of love beyond physical attraction, emphasizing freedom, spiritual connection, and the soul's liberation.

Abstract

The article presents a profound exploration of love, distinguishing it from mere physical attraction or societal constructs. It describes love as an expansive force that fosters independence and freedom, transcending the boundaries of the physical body and mind. The author draws on Hindu philosophy to illustrate a mystical connection between souls, where love is a path to spiritual liberation and self-realization. The text critiques the modern portrayal of love, often muddled with sexual intimacy and materialistic expressions, advocating instead for a love that is unconditional, uplifting, and free from restrictions.

Opinions

  • Love, in its truest form, is not limited to feelings or intellectual connections but is an oceanic force that extends to the soul, promoting ecstasy, freedom, and the opening of one's being.
  • The article suggests that modern interpretations of love, focusing on infatuation, lust, and materialism, fall short of the divine and pure nature of real love.
  • In Hindu philosophy, love is seen as a deep, mystical connection that is unconditional and transcends the cycle of birth and death, emphasizing a spiritual union over physical attraction.
  • The author criticizes the overemphasis on gender roles and sexual intimacy in contemporary definitions of love, arguing that love should not be confined to the male-female binary or sexual acts.
  • The narrative of Mirabai is used to exemplify the idea of surrendering to the divine, where love for the divine supersedes worldly relationships and societal norms.
  • The text posits that true love energizes the intent for liberation, allowing souls to merge and

Love, as people understand today, in rapportage of connection, syncing, ability to find mutual interests, and being able to put yourself last and your partner's self first is adequate to a degree. It is, however, the ideal system we are talking about. A non-ideal opportunistic system also exists where infatuation and lust for each other's bodies can be mistaken for love. For both, these systems apply themselves only to the context of the modern world. While real love is different, it goes beyond body and mind.

It makes you feel ecstatic to the degree that you are bound to leave your sacred body and depart to a safe space. Real love is about independence, freedom, space, expansion, opening up of your pores, being, and the extension of persons getting untangled. It is a meeting of souls more than it's the meeting of estranged bodies. It is divine and pure. The emphasis on love is about 'no restrictions, foundations, clutching traps,' nothing. The only emphasis lies on freedom, upliftment, and openness.

What is Love? A game of past and present contrasts

In Hindu Philosophy, only one type of love can exist, and that has to be one where a person, regardless of their background, can accept their partner for who they are and let them be. The threads of interwoven lines in this type of love are too entangled that it's difficult to separate them. It's a mystical connection, an intuition that exists between the two, and there are boundless conditions bereft and seamless communication patterns weaved between the two. But the core of it remains the same, deeply in love and taking the plunge into deeper waters, not caring where they would drop themselves where.

But ultimately freeing themselves from the cycles of birth and death.

Masculine and Feminine

In love, a male and female relationship has been over-emphasized and made much more rhetorical aspect than the theme of love itself. People are being served as love on any lover's day, like Valentine's weekdays such as Chocolate Day, Hug Day, or Valentine's day, etc. it has become all about Male and Female relationships. Sexual intimacy is often the center corporeal entity, for subtle bodies are never important to consider as they are entirely rejected.

Sex is very important, and rightfully so, but it's a byproduct of love and not the other way around. A human being is more than their sexual organs and can rise above the basal brain and can be more empathetic and transcendental to assist a lover's unison with the true spirit.

Dancing with the divine

Before elaborating on this, I want to talk about a woman named Mirabai who used to sing devotional songs to Krishna (Deity of the Hindu Pantheon Gods).

Her respect and immense ability to lose herself for the other person led her to be poisoned by her own husband.

But miraculously, she did not die. She sang devotional songs or Bhajans; being a feminine ascetic, she moved around as a Vagabond, only submitting herself to God.

The highest attainable God is love, and the source of that energy within is bliss.

It is believed that a lover and love can be different but the purpose is all aligned towards freedom, cherishing your persona, and temperament, and building your identity, aura, and perception you have for yourself.

Deeper terrains of love

When love in its web of piety develops you and forms you, it energizes an intent to achieve liberation for the cycles of the soul. A better half lets you be and lets you thrive; both of them lose everything and anything. No gradation or quantification of their love is lost since their souls have merged already. They are getting connected, concocting, and sharing each other conscious, memories, and subconscious memories to attain Mukti (freedom of the soul).

Not so obvious love

Love in the modern world dissipates your abilities to raise yourself both from a logical or spiritual point of view. Filled with insecurities, confusion, control, and restraint, it blurs many lines. The emotions and trauma due to excessive mutual emotional abuse make it a hard relationship to repair. If anything exists and forces you to condition yourself with doubt, pressure, and anxiety, it's better to let go.

Sex is not love; hence should be kept as a different entity and fraction; if you need it, have it. But looking at love through the prism of sex is a lust for bodies. The reality of love, as I said, is beyond the body. It does not matter who your partner is or how they look; you cannot resist being around them and are willing to put unconditional faith in that person.

Here is a poem on love, just a few lines reflecting on actual love:

I saw you and even let you go, for who is there to tell me you were yearning and carrying the world around?

Bound in Ground you stay and stand, missing the picturesque hand-in-hand image, like we always were together.

We are not together and never will be, but I knew what you wanted, needed, and perceived.

My love is infinite spanning oceans, horizons, cosmos, and planets.

I let you free, roam with your sizable destiny and I uplift you higher and higher.

I want you to be the Phoenix rising from the ashes to quench its thirst.

You aspire to be a powerful you, and I will let you go and become what you want…

Forever I will always oblige that you came, and took my heart away, while I lost and colored myself with your color.

It has opened my gates, gas tank, and broken doors to let the higher being connect with me.

Since I am not you, you are not me, but I rose myself with you,

The entire unison was a coloring book filled with colors, yet leave the other pages uncolored, since the color has already been done.

The colorless do not want colors sometimes; they just need a clean slate to start afresh.
