ALL Lives Matter
Doesn't matter about race, creed or colour
Here we are on one big ball, Of lava, crust and mantle. All settled on clumps of land, From Adelaide to Seattle.
We all have heads and arms and legs, And organs used for pleasure. We just want to thrive and survive, And see the world at our leisure.
There is one thing that seems to be, A real major issue. It's not any of our body parts, It's the colour of our tissue.
It breeds contempt and causes hate, Amongst all kinds of people. The kind that tends to salivate, With ignorance that's unequal.
The racist chants that can be heard, Echo through the darkness. The chants increase and escalate, Into acts of violence.
The hurt and pain the abuser's cause, Can lead to acts of murder. Can we sit and let this go, And just be an observer?
No, we can't but it's not right, To riot, burn and plunder. Imprisonment and punishment, You have to fight fire with water.
So if you think that the world rotates, Because of our skin colour. Then think again and understand, Really ALL lives matter.
