Summarize

All is still up until The cadences collide And then its sweet surrender I join them for the ride.

I’ll rise and fall and that’s not all I’m beckoned to the beat The lilt can be electric Supple, and so sweet.

Then some speech is out of reach The brogue and intonation Said with satisfaction And soft subtle inflection.

Music talks in dulcet tones The rhythm and the rhyme Caught inside my memory Repeating over time.

In the trees, the wind can sneeze As birdsong breaks the day Fractured sounds of silence When nature’s out to play.

I walked into a symphony Then past a tambourine Up and down with renown Into another scene.

Caught up in the catalyst The lilt and lullaby Rock me off to sleep my sweet Hush baby don’t you cry.
