1. UFO Biblical clouds.
Unlike ordinary clouds, the clouds described in the Bible exhibit extraordinary characteristics and behaviors that have long perplexed scholars.
The Hebrew term commonly translated as “cloud” in the Bible is Ānān (עָנן). However, the translation “cloud” does not accurately convey its true meaning.
The exact meaning of Ānān remains uncertain due to its uncertain root. Various scholars propose different roots, resulting in different interpretations of the word’s meaning. From the biblical stories, however, it is clear that the so-called clouds did things that normal clouds don’t do.
Natural phenomena involving clouds are occasionally described in the Bible. Yet, far from being natural, the biblical “clouds” have always left scholars scratching their heads. These clouds are too often “special”, act unlike normal clouds would, and are always linked to the direct activities of the Elohim, “those who from heaven to the earth came”.
Whatever its nature, the Ānān (the cloud) appeared to be an enigmatic form of UFO technology employed by the Elohim. This connection is prevalent throughout the Bible with numerous figures, ranging from the Old Testament to the New, that frequently arrived on these ‘clouds’ or utilized them in various ways.
Even our Lord Jesus, who will eventually ascend amidst a ‘cloud’ and return on the ‘clouds,’ is not exempt from this pattern, endorsing the connection between the UFO-cloud phenomena and the “divine” presence.
But let’s proceed in order, let’s start with the etymology.
2. UFO Clouds (ānān) — the etymology.
The uncertainty about the origin, meaning and use of this term reigns supreme.
The Kleins E. Comprehensive Etymological Dictionary says:
“‘Ānān (עָנן) — the Cloud: A root of uncertain origin. The idea that it could mean “divinating from the shape of clouds” has been abandoned by most scholars. Some connect anan (עָנָן) with the Arabic ‘anna: appeared. Others compare it to Gk. Ghanna: spoke through the nose, or ghunnah: nasal”
The Abarim Publications explain:
“The BDB Theological Dictionary reports that this whole group of words is united in a single root ענן (‘anan), which is not used in the Bible, but which may have something to do with an Arabic verb which means appearing or presenting oneself, precisely intervening as an obstacle.”
Ultimately, a cloud that might not be purely just a cloud…

3. UFO Clouds (ānān) — Biblical examples.
We have selected specific biblical examples that we believe best represent these peculiar clouds, offering insights into their features and characteristics. By doing so we aim to shed light on their real nature: UFOs endowed with incredible alien powers, used by the Elohim.
The examples below are taken from both the Old and New Testaments.
This means that the considerations about the Hebrew word “ānān” (cloud) will be valid only for the passages taken from the Old testament, as in the New, being this latter written in Greek and not in Hebrew the word used is not “anan but the” Greek “nephelē” (νεφέλη), cloud. (See: 3507 — nephelé)
1. Exodus 40: 36–38 — The UFO Glowing cloud
At the core of the Old Testament lies the Exodus account, where something resembling a “cloud” guided the Hebrew people out of Egypt.
“In all the travels of the Israelites, whenever the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle, they would set out; but if the cloud did not lift, they did not set out — until the day it lifted. So the cloud of Yahweh was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the Israelites during all their travels.”
This cloud is undoubtedly bizarre.
First of all, it has an owner, Yahweh: “the cloud of Yahweh (עֲנַ֨ן יְהוָ֤ה)”.
Additionally, the marching times of crossing the desert depend on it. Whenever the cloud above the tabernacle lifted, they would proceed on their travels. However, if the cloud remained stationary, they would not move until the day it finally lifted.
From the biblical account its clear that the cloud lead the Israelites throughout their forty-year journey through the wilderness, with the people faithfully following its lead as they receive precise instructions linked to the strategic defense of the camp and the army.
Finally, this peculiar aerial object had cloud-like appearances during the day and emitted a glowing light at night, reminiscent of descriptions often associated with modern UFO sightings.
Have you ever witnessed a cloud that remains stationary for days or years, glows at night and serves as a constant guide?
2. Exodus 13: 21.22 — Ufo cloud and the Pillar of fire
“And Yahweh went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night. He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people..”
During the day, Yahweh led them forward on something that the text describes as “pillar of a cloud”, and by night in a “pillar of fire”. The Bible leaves little clues at this specific point as to what it might have been, but tells us that it served to guide the Jews, to show them the way during the crossing of the desert.
The concept of Yahweh, regarded as God by theologians, leading his people through a “pillar of fire” is, indeed, bizarre. What was this cloud really? and how to explain the striking resemblance with some modern ufological manifestations?

The verse tells us that during the night this “pillar of fire” remained stationary and gave light to the camp.
It sounds very much like a huge light column being released by the UFO, a sort of huge laser beam that, at least in these circumstances, gave directions to the Hebrews and and acted as a light source during the night.
3. Exodus 14: 24,25 — Ufo cloud and direct intervention in battle.
“And it came to pass, that in the morning watch Yahweh looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, And took off their chariot wheels, that they drove them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for Yahweh fights for them against the Egyptians.”
With this passage the situation further escalates. It plainly shows that Yahweh was definitely not God and it gives us further insights into the “cloud”. The text states that Yahweh looked at the camp of the Egyptians from his “pillar of fire and cloud”. It would appear that Yahweh is inside the “cloud” and is in control of it.
The “pillar of fire and cloud” seems to be capable of directly intervene in battle. The text tells us that in an act of combat against the Egyptian army, “Yahweh looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, And took off their chariot wheels, that they drove them heavily“.
It appears that the UFO is somehow inflicting heavy material damages to the enemy chariots. Yahweh, through the “pillar of fire and cloud” casts a mighty “look” upon the Egyptians, exerting a force so formidable that it crushes them. Egyptians are crashed by the divine “look” from the UFO positioned above them.
Some kind of advanced technology is involved in this. If it is not the light beam that is responsible for this attack, then it must be some other unspecified weapon possessed by the “cloud”.
It becomes evident that Yahweh, within the “pillar of fire and cloud,” exercises control and directly intervenes in battle, inflicting significant damage to the Egyptian army. The overwhelming force exerted by the UFO-like phenomenon suggests the involvement of advanced technology, challenging traditional interpretations.
