Alexei Anatolievich Navalny is a Russian opposition leader, lawyer, anti-corruption activist and a political prisoner. He has organised anti-government demonstrations and run for office to advocate reforms against corruption in Russia, and against President Vladimir Putin and his government.
Navalny rose to prominence as Russia’s most outspoken Kremlin critic after leading a series of anti-corruption investigations into top members of the Russian elite.
Alexei paid the ultimate price for wanting his country to be free.
