Summary

The web content is a reflective poem titled "Alchemy" that explores personal growth and the pursuit of happiness through introspection and the appreciation of life's simple pleasures.

Abstract

"Alchemy" is a contemplative piece that delves into the quest for contentment and self-fulfillment. The poem begins with a motivational self-dialogue, urging action and self-assurance. It then transitions into a moment of realization, suggesting that happiness is not found in relentless pursuit but in the present moments and natural experiences that are often overlooked. The author encourages the reader to pause, breathe, and embrace the joy found in the innocence of a child or a dog, the sensory pleasure of nature, and the warmth of human connection. The poem is prompted by the "Know Thyself, Heal Thyself" (KTHT) philosophy and concludes with an invitation to explore related works and support the author.

Alchemy

Golden moments in the spaces

Just do it do it do it

And it’ll be fine and I’ll be enough

I can achieve it

if I make it

happen happen happen…

happy

Am I happy yet?

Maybe I just can’t see it

yet.

It ain’t there looking, seeking, searching, trying , trying, trying - to find -

Stop.

take a fucking breath and sigh or yawn wide

open open, open -

Open…

It’s in the smile of a dog or a child

the free foot massage from the pebbles of a stream

the warmth of a stranger’s hug and the light from the wind in the leaves

the weight of resting, connecting and being

it’s in the spaces in between
