AI’s Inorganic Surge And The Vital Connection of Human Creativity.

Paving the way for an organic and connected reality

AI and Creative Writing

For writers, where does AI fit in? Creative writing is organic; it’s the divine creation, expressing one’s thoughts. AI has no connection to the divine that we are and has no heart to express its emotions.

To craft this piece, I needed to take some time to be calm, gather my thoughts, and picture the world of AI, comparing this to how I envision the world of HI.

I have a little smile to myself as I recognize that AI can’t meditate before it generates its response, whereas meditation is something that I always do prior to writing; I pray for inspiration and knowledge.

AI makes me think of the poor Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz film, who wants a heart because he wants to feel and experience the emotions of a human being.

You see, it takes a heart to write a heartfelt message. And, when we write from this place, it connects us with other fellow human beings who resonate with our hearts and minds. We have something unique within each of us, and no artificial robot can ever replace what it is to be a human.

Through my writing alone, I have connected with incredible people who have lovingly shared and supported my journey.

The Dichotomy Between AI and HI

When I think deeply about AI, several words come to mind — artificial, inorganic, plastic, fake, dangerous, impersonal, disconnected, anti-human.

By comparison, when I think about HI, words like- creation, organic, blossoming, growth, nature, truth, heartfelt, honesty, integrity, love, and earth come to mind.

AI is currently and rightfully a hot topic, and we are beginning to see that people with foresight have connected the dots and sense the potential dangers ahead.

We need a boundary line, and perhaps there lies the heart (there goes that word again) of the problem. There isn’t one, and people already feel uneasy and powerless to stop the AI surge ahead of us.

It’s Up To Us To Decide

Humanity has already accepted AI into everyday life; we can no longer function without being attached to our mobile tracking devices. Have you ever searched your bag, pockets, and house and felt the sheer panic of losing your phone?

Last year, my husband and I visited a restaurant in our hotel one evening. We were handed a QR code on a plastic square to scan the menu. Wanting no distractions of a phone and some precious time together, I purposely left my device in the hotel room.

I asked for a paper menu, and let’s face it, we all still want to open a paper menu, don’t we? It’s part of the surprise and joy of eating out. Worried I wasn’t happy, the waiter promptly went to print me one out. I guess I was making a statement that not all of us depend on our phones all the time.

I believe it doesn’t take everyone to create change in the world. It is a positive sign people are beginning to sense discomfort with the AI mission creep. Love and human intelligence have a natural way of pulling through all adversity.

The Internet’s Global Impact

When the internet came online for the public, how exciting was it to receive an email or visit an online store?

The internet has proven to be an incredible tool for making the world a smaller place, instantly connecting and aligning us with people in the world. Meetings are held from all corners of the globe, without even having to leave home.

Like everything, there is a dark side, it is used to traffic children, drugs, and weapons, as well as opening up a can of worms for child abuse and online harm.

AI, The Next Global Takeover

The same goes for AI, as it did the internet, all depends upon the level of consciousness behind the technology.

I believe many will sleepwalk themselves into an alternative metaverse reality to escape the one in which they barely already have any meaningful existence. Although sad, this does not dishearten me.

On a more positive note, many people already envision a more organic, connected, and unified way ahead.

You and I are the pioneers who put our intentions towards creativity and co-creating an organic, connected reality.

Thank you for reading today, my hope is that my writing inspires and uplifts you.

Thank you, DR Rawson - The Possibilist for creating a prompt that clearly touches the hearts of so many.
