Summary

The web content reflects a writer's dissatisfaction with modern air travel, contrasting it with a fantastical preference for dragon-riding as a mode of transportation.

Abstract

The author expresses frustration with the current state of air travel, citing TSA hassles, mask requirements, flight cancellations, and high costs, comparing the experience unfavorably to a root canal. They then fantasize about an alternative means of travel: riding a dragon. This dragon is described as a majestic, five-story, fire-breathing creature with blue and green scales and a golden saddle. The author imagines this mode of travel as a way to rekindle their love for exploring new places without the associated stress and depression of contemporary air travel. The piece concludes with a prompt from "Paper Poetry," inviting readers to engage with their own imaginative writings, and includes a call to action for readers to join Medium for full access to articles, including the author's work.

Air Travel

Flighty poetry

Air travel has become such a pain TSA, masks, canceled flights, huge cost I would rather go to the dentist for a root canal So hard to get from one place to another

Travel would not be a problem if I had my dragon A big five-story fire-breathing monstrosity Blue and green scales with a golden saddle Whenever I wanted to go

Flying at my command Back to enjoying my love of unknown places Without having to overcome the depression of getting there I hop on, kick my heels, and leap into the sky
