AI Will Never Come Close In Writing — Period
What’s going on, reminds me of the famous tale of ‘tortoise and rabbit’.

AI has had the air to outperform humans in writing since chatGPT came into being. However count on this, AI will take a nap just like our discredited friend-the rabbit. (Potentially for a much longer period or it may not move at all from there, but in both cases will get more ridiculed than the rabbit)
Artificial Intelligence can research data, and make lengthy reports with perfect references. But, Write? no-no A big Nayy the thing; Himalayan difference between generating and writing.
Same reason we use ‘AI-Generated’ to describe the work of AI rather than ‘AI Written, AI Designed’. Provided the fundamental, that it dives into the sea of data archives and mixes it up. Comes up with a copy according to the demand.
On the other hand, when a human is demanded to write about a certain topic, He/She writes a draft, putting thoughts wandering in their mind onto a piece of paper or in notes. Then upon revision or as needed starts to attach facts and statistics to give weight to the story.
Both of these approaches to writing are as different as chalk and cheese. So, I am going to boil things down to two basic ingredients to write, (AI has lacked to date)
Emotions
‘We are made of emotions, We are looking for emotions. Its only a question of, finding a way to experience them’. Ayrtorn Senna
AI cannot feel anger, fear, sadness, disgust, or enjoyment. Can not relate to it or write about it for sure.
Knowing our reader's deepest desires, longings and inclinations is what works wonders for us writers.
If a reader's wire to the heart is connected to one's story, I fear, that no force in the world can un-tie them.
Art to story-tell
Every writer has a unique tone, style, and approach to writing. Offering creativity and building up the story is what are known for, what people pay for. Providing our unique worldview from a different standpoint every time is just the cherry on top.
AI can never be Creative or Imaginative in generating data, because it is designed to only fetch data from sources around the web, put it in order, and roll it out according to request.
Basically, AI only works, if writers worldwide continue being creative and it can fetch diversified data. (what would AI fetch if Markets are flooded with the same AI content?)
My Prediction
Every employer worldwide is cutting possible dollars, hiring incompetent amateurs who use AI to generate articles.
This may seem like an approach to go with right now, but when the push comes to the stove, the content market will be jammed with AI content everywhere, and it could even collapse and AI may need to file Bankruptcy.
People even now, are exhausted of AI results popping all over Google.
Humans always need something crisp, a story that taps their emotions, A memoir they can relate to.
If most of the creative writers are cut off, Inferior content will start circulating all over the place, increasing the demand for storytellers.
The Glided Age of Writing, yet to come?
After this patience, some writers had to endure. Is the Golden Age a dream worth dreaming?
Answer this, with a truckload of writers getting sacked (and some quitting) and with inferior AI content circling the world over, for whom it can create a shedload of demand?
Us writers?

In our country they often say,
‘Umeed par duniya qayim hai’
— ‘The world runs on hope’
Happy writing :)
