The Human Intelligence Movement is devoted to discussing all the topics associated with AI vs HI. In the final moments of 2023, the heat on this subject turned up exponentially, with lawsuits from several parties.

On January 1, 2024, we’re sponsoring a contest for articles and stories written about the use of artificial intelligence vs human intelligence. We now have nearly 300 writers who have declared their interest in and stand against the use of AI here on Medium.

Contest Rules

Topic: AI vs HI

Contest Period: January 1 to 31, 2024. The winner will be announced on February 10th in Dancing Elephant Press (DEP).

Open To: Anyone who wants to write on this topic in Dancing Elephant Press. If you are not a writer for DEP, please read the guidelines and let us know in the comments (here) and by replying to Dancing Elephants Press Submission Guidelines that you want to write for DEP. We will add your name. — We create a tag for each writer for announcements. Please do let us know if you do not want to be tagged for announcements, prompts, round-ups, and contests.

Option: DEP has agreed to publish a book from the stories submitted and split profits with each writer that the HI Movement Editorial Board accepts. A total of thirty-one articles or stories will be accepted. The 31 articles will include our editorial articles as well. Add the topic AI vs. HI book submission as a topic when submitting in addition to the topic DancingElephantPress.

Dancing Elephants Press has specific guidelines for the upcoming HI vs AI book project that will be sent out by the morning of Jan 1st, 2024 in a separate announcement by Dr. Gabriella Korosi. We are looking for high-quality articles with a minimum of 1000 words based on personal experience and research in the area.

Awards: First place $25.00, Second place $15.00, Third place $5.00, plus one Honorable Mention.
