AI User Guide: Creating an Automated Outbound Sales Voice-Bot

Step 1: Tools

We will be using three main tools in order to build our automated outbound sales voice-bot: Synth Flow, elevenLabs, and Twilio.

Step 2: Setting Up Synth Flow

• Sign up for Synth Flow on their website.
• Navigate to the “Voice Lab” tab and create a new voice clone.
• Upload a clear voice clip (10 MB or less) and provide a description.th flow
• Use default voice settings for the initial test.

Step 3: Configuring elevenLabs for Voice Cloning

• Sign up for elevenLabs on their platform.
• Access the “Voice Lab” and create a new voice clone.
• Upload a voice clip, add a description, and keep the settings as default for the initial test.
• Copy the voice ID for later use.

Step 4: Connecting Twilio to Synth Flow

• Sign up for Twilio and create an account.
• Obtain your Twilio account SID, auth token, and create a phone number.
• In Synth Flow, navigate to the API keys section and connect Synth Flow to Twilio using your Twilio credentials.

Step 5: Configuring the AI Assistant in Synth Flow

• In Synth Flow, create a new assistant for outbound sales.
• Configure the assistant by providing a name, company information, and conversation purposes.
• Connect the voice clone from elevenLabs to the assistant using the voice ID obtained earlier.
• Set the language and customize the greeting.

Step 6: Advanced Configurations for SMS (Optional)

• Explore advanced configurations in Synth Flow for sending SMS using Twilio.
• Select a template for B2B sales outreach.
• Adapt the script for objections and rules based on your specific use case.

Step 7: Importing Leads and Creating Campaigns

• In Synth Flow, test the assistant by importing leads. Download and use the provided CSV template for correct formatting.
• Create a new campaign, specifying the name, budget, time zone, and date.
• Attach your Twilio number for outgoing calls.

Step 8: Testing the Voice-Bot

• Use the testing feature in Synth Flow to ensure the voice-bot works as intended.
• Monitor logs to track interactions, answered calls, and conversations.

Step 9: Integration with HubSpot (Optional)

• Explore the potential to integrate Synth Flow with HubSpot for CRM enrichment.
• Use information gathered during calls to enhance your CRM data.

Step 10: Sample Call and Further Improvements

• Review the provided sample call in the video to observe the voice-bot in action.
• Consider refining the voice clone and script based on initial test results.
• Implement any additional improvements based on your specific needs. By following these step-by-step instructions, you can successfully create and deploy an automated outbound sales voice-bot using Synth Flow, elevenLabs, and Twilio.
