Looking through an object! — secrets revealed!
I thought it was pretty cool to be able to have AI focus the subject through the lens of something — whether a glass ball or an actual lens.
Did you notice? The scenic reflection of the mountains, cloud-kissed sky, and lake are inverted in the orb?
Not all of the generations were, most were not — but this is how it would actually be viewed by our eyes!
This image was a very simple one to achieve. I may have to visit this for a future story.
The main portion of the prompt to achieve this is looking through a glass orb. Anything listed after this is what you wish to see, the details, the lighting…in this case, I listed mountain lake for what I wished to see and dawn for the lighting.
You can be specific with the type of dawn as well. Such as golden dawn or fiery dawn.

The wintry scene above took a little more work. I had to change the wording for MJ to recognize what I was requesting.
To achieve this view, I used view through a camera then listed what I wanted to view — winter wonderland.
This image has the appearance our photographer fell in the snow!

This image is similar to the prompt above with a small variation.
Instead of using view through a camera, I changed it to looking through the lens of a camera. Again, we used a winter wonderland.

This image took more work, more trial and error, to get the results I wanted — which didn’t leave much to choose from as nearly all images had the Elk facing away.
Most of the beginning images had the scope sticking out of the Elk’s head in some fashion…real natural MJ.
For the image to actually be viewed through the scope lens, I had to use image weights to tell MJ where to position things. If you haven’t learned out to use weights, check out this detailed tutorial!
I used looking through the lens of a scope::5 to tell MJ this is the main focus. I separated the rest of the prompt with a comma. Then I listed what I wanted to see through the scope with at an Elk::2.
After writing the prompt this way, the images were consistent. This one was one of the first created.
MJ with its sense of humor produced some wild antlers. So, we have a Uni-Elk! 🤪🤣
