Too bad Midjourney (and me) wasn’t able to create such stunning images when I birthed the Burn, Baby, Burn Challenge back in August of 2022! Intrigued? Check it out and write for it!
The stunning image above of a flaming dress was created with Midjourney’s V5. It took a small handful of generations to get the flames how I wanted them.
However, I did not expect Hades to look like this. A version I created many months ago with V4 (and did not publish or keep) had a flaming dress and tormented souls in her wake. I wish this had those tormented souls!
How do you achieve the camera angle of this vixen looking down on you with power and authority? By prefixing the prompt with low angle shot.
For the flaming dress, I had tried different wording before AI put the fire on the dress instead of in the background. I even tried fire+dress and dress made of fire while AI stubbornly refused to cooperate.
What finally worked?
I changed the wording to dress made of flames. Then the images got better and better (meaning more and more fire!)
Prompt for image above:
low angle shot of gorgeous woman with black hair wearing a dress made of flames, walking in hades, alluring, Canon EOS R5, Vogue --v 5

The prompt originally was supposed to be a play on Flaming Hot Cheetos but Midjourney didn’t understand what Cheetos were. (See the image at the end that didn’t make the cut! LOL)
Yes, the Doritos seem to be filled with a molten, hot substance — but look at those flames!
To amp up the beauty of the image, I searched for food photographers and very much liked Davide Luciano. This portion goes at the end of your prompts to bring the image to a whole different level of awesomeness.
To achieve that flaming hot goodness you’d feel for days, I used Doritos on fire.
How do you get that epic, close, mouth-watering shot? Put close up view of at the beginning of your prompt!

I wanted an anime feel for this image so we are testing out Midjourney’s newest release — Niji Version 5!! 🎉😍❤️🔥
This is a super simple prompt. I took cute adorable baby monster and added on fire.
Some of the images had fire on the arms, some on the head, others down the back and running like a freaked bat out of hell (or V4 Hades with tormented souls.)
I thought this one was just adorable. Plus, it was actually in the first set of four images generated! All other variations (though amazing) paled in light of this.

This gorgeous image only took as many generations as it did because silly me forgot to take MJ off of Niji 5 and put it back to V5! 🤣
As with the previous image, this was one of the first generated and a relatively simple prompt using a white tiger leaping through a ring of fire.
To bring out the flavor in the image above, I used by Franze Lanting and by Cristina Mittermeier. (Franz Lanting had stunning photos that were a perfect reflection of the one above. MJ nailed it!!)

Didn’t make the cut…

This was supposed to be Cheetos on fire! 🤣🤣🤣 The other attempts looked like spiral macaroni on fire! This was all MJ — I claim no part in this.
