Glowing, armored beasts— secrets revealed!

An ethereal fighting panther — AI image using Midjourney

Check out the strength of the panther’s muscles.

It is clothed with metallic creations and glowing colors swirling about him.

How do you create a stunning beast arrayed with swirling, glowing colors, mechanical parts, and armament? It’s much easier than you realize!

Midjourney took the natural strength of a panther and incorporated it into the images as a very muscular cat.

I wanted to have a warrior, or a fighter, so I added doing jiu-jitsu to the prompt. Each image turned out incredible. So much so, I had it narrowed down to four or five images that I really wanted to share and had to choose from.

You can achieve the colorful glow, or aura, by adding ethereal to your prompt. You can see below that it precedes panther to make the panther be ethereal.

Glowing bear — AI image using Midjourney

The beginning bears were on all fours. Since I wanted the creatures in this article to be upright, I added anthropomorphic to the prompts. This gives animals humanistic traits.

The semi-transparent wristbands (or they could be cuffs for a raging prisoner!) are a cool touch on this angry bear.

Since I was vague about the type of bear, I received mostly brown bears with a few polar bears in the mix. The polar bears had more of a whitish or yellowish glow than an array of colors.

Futuristcore style adds mechanical portions to the images, creating a warrior feel.

Mouse praying — AI image using Midjourney

My attempts for an awesome ethereal mouse were — less than awesome.

Nearly all images were adorable praying mice.

However, almost none of them had any ethereal quality to them.

This image has the futuristcore style armament, which many did.

Quite a few of the images had a circular glow around the head. Maybe because I put praying in the prompt??

These two (adorable) images most closely resemble the prompt.

Monkey/Macaw’s praying — AI image using Midjourney

While still a cool image, Midjourney did not want to add the ethereal glow to any of these images. Ugh! I even tried re-wording the prompt with ethereal at the end.

(The creature on the right has some crazy long (aka creepy) digits!)

Baby dragon praying — AI image using Midjourney

I could not get the baby dragon (or dragons) to have the ethereal glow either.

Some of them did generate the futuristcore style, though none of the monkey+macaw did.

There were a few amusing images of the mice. And one inappropriate one — who knew?!
