AI Image How-To— #18
Combining creatures — secrets revealed!

I originally began creating bio-luminescent turtles and they were absolutely adorable. These are actually the last images for this article. I decided it needed something more.
So I removed bio-luminescent and thought for a good while what I wanted to add.
Then it dawned on me — an elephant!

The problem I had? Deciding between two of my favorite images! So, you get to see them both!
Several of the images were elephant sized turtles. How do I know this? The small people beside the turtle, beside it on the ground looking up, or sitting atop the Turtaphant.
Combining creatures is actually pretty easy. Below is the prompt for both Turtaphants above (turtle elephant combinations.)
After several image generations, Midjourney, much to my surprise and joy, added in some bio-luminescent to the shells. Score for me! Lol

After working to create a young woman with feline characteristics for my collaboration series, I thought it would be fun to create an AI article for combining different creatures/things.
We are starting this article off showing two ways to combine creatures. The first will be lemur+parrot. (With the + between the creatures-see the prompt below.)
The first several images were lemurs with wings, but it took a few generations to get the parrot’s coloring I was aiming for.
Each image generated was given a tiny, adorable friend.
To add some fun to the Lem-rot, I utilized magical and fantasy in the prompt.

For this lemur/parrot creation, I used lemur, parrot wings in the prompt. This wording generated the desired image much more quickly.
Wonderful details in the cross between two species.
As always, be specific with the outcome you want. If the images are not generating as desired, change up the wording a little bit.
Both of the lemur parrots melded together nicely but differently with slight variations in the wording of the prompt.
I find more difficult prompts to be like a puzzle to figure out. I also enjoy the challenge.
If your prompt isnt giving the desired results, how can you reword it?

I don’t know if the tiger is sitting on a candle but this turned out really cool.
The fur looks like paper folds, with the back knee in a spiral. The burning glow of the eye gives a sense of danger. Very cool.

A good number of these images looked like an angry fish, shark, or dragon.
MJ had the right idea but was a little confused what the shape should look like.
There is a variety of color for the flames which is interesting. You can see there is texture for the scales and armament. Also, what’s going on with those teeth?!
It kind of looks like it’s erupting out of the ocean much like a volcano.
