AI Art Prompts-Let’s Play-June 26-July 2, 2023
Let’s see what happens when we play with computer-generated art

Hello, my creative geniuses. This week, we’re just going to play around with AI and see what we can come up with. I have to give full credit for this week’s idea to NightCafe Studios. Their daily challenge for tomorrow is Mysterious Figures and the first thing that popped into my head was The Man in the Iron Mask. I was more than thrilled with the images I created. Here’s the one I’ve entered into the challenge.

That’s when I came up with the idea to throw a few more book/movie titles into the generator and see what came out. Some were way cool and others…not so much.
The first thing that came to mind, and I have no idea why, was The Prince and the Pauper. Apparently, the muse is cleaning out a closet tonight. Wonder what she’s looking for.

As I was trying to create the above image, the muse tossed another title out of the closet that took me by surprise. The Portrait of Dorian Gray. I have a strange fascination with this story. Some of my ancestors were Grays. No, not the alien type…well, maybe, but yea.

The other reason I love the story of Dorian Gray is because he’s my favorite character in the movie The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Please, don’t judge me. I’ve always had a thing for the bad boys.

Finally, I told the muse to dig deep into that closet and see if she could find a title that would really make me think. Well, after she flipped me off and said she was busy, she threw Chariots of the Gods at me. Be careful what you wish for. This one took me over an hour on three different generation platforms. And though I never did get the image I’d hoped for, I thought this one was very cool.

Okay, now it’s your turn. Throw a few book/movie/song titles and see what you come up with. Remember, there will be times when the images won’t come out the way you were expecting, no matter how many times you generate. Embrace your failures. They might accidentally create a whole new idea stream.
Oh, and FYI…don’t try to create an image of Moby Dick. For some reason, a lot of AI platforms reject certain words outright and flag the prompts. I can’t imagine why. I mean, what do they have against whales? (she said as sarcastically as possible).
Until next time, Stay Creative!!!
