In the scorching summer heat, with sweat upon my brow, I sought solace in a hot shower, I’m like, “Wow!” As I turned on the faucet, the water did spray, But oh dear, it was scorching, hotter than a summer’s day!
I jumped back in surprise, with a yell and a yelp, The shower had turned into a fiery hell! I danced in the bathroom, trying to cool my feet, But the water kept burning, a sizzling treat.
I thought, “Why, oh why, did I choose a hot shower?” In this summer’s heat, it’s a ludicrous hour! I quickly turned the knob, hoping for some relief, But alas, the water remained a scorching thief.
So there I stood, all hot and bothered, you see, In a shower that felt like a blazing cup of tea. I finally gave up and ran out in a hurry, Dripping with sweat, feeling all hot and flurried.
Lesson learned, my friend, in the summer’s high tide, Choose a cool shower, let the heat subside. For a hot shower in summers, it’s just not right, It’s like trying to cool down with a firefly’s light!
