Of all religions, nightmares exist to divide adultery

Ahalya’s Remorse

Why am I the falter line in the crooked story

“Earth’s resting hymn”: Poetic Murmur 5

अहल्यस्य वेदना

(Ahalya’s pain)

Divine dupes the ‘my fair lady’. Does she feel shame in her gutted, body of preposterous proportions. Indra’s gaze burns her loins on fire. In absolute desire, as he was the king of God’s. A kingdom’s unapologetic, king of God’s, yet he deceived her, cursed to be a rock, laying in the dusty splitting sand. In distress, she gazes and calls Rama. Rama with his soft and supple gaze looks at her with awe and wonder, Gently ruffles his hands over her crouched cloth. Ahalya became a woman again, Is that the end for her? Amaze in phases, all humans questioned her for her supposed, adultery. Gautama cursed her for Indra’s duplicity. What if Ahalya had a choice? Like the notions that foray into manifolds, of demands, grace of equality, and treating people with parity, in perpetual synchronicity, Ahalya’s choice would turn everyone to stone even Rama…

Beyond the Verses: Ahalya’s story is about the Hindu God Indra’s love for her. She was married to a much older man known as Gautama who was a sage. Lord Indra also known as King of the Gods came to her disguised as Gautama and had intimate moments with her. When Gautama knew about this, he cursed Ahalya to remain still like a rock. When Rama and Laxmana came to live in the forest once gave away their rights to remain as Ayodhya’s ruler they encountered Ahalya’s sculpture when Rama touched it, Ahalya became a human again.
