Age of Empathy News: August Edition
The latest roundup and a look to the month ahead

A big, warm August HELLO to all of our readers and writers here at Age of Empathy publication.
The last month has blown me away with the number of incredible essays we received and published. I have always thought of the summer months as the quiet months on Medium but July proved me wrong. I guess it was just me being unusually quiet.
We had our Waves prompt which clearly hit home for plenty and inspired many great pieces. Meanwhile, elsewhere in the pub we have hosted some of the best pieces I have read in a long time, with, not surprisingly, a high number of boosted essays.
So, without further ado, let’s dive into the highlights from July!

New Month, New Prompt — Feasting!
As ever, we have a new prompt to mark the beginning of a new month. With the abundance of food available in nature during the summer months, I have chosen the theme of Feasting for the month’s inspiration. Below is the prompt article with all the details.
And with that, from myself and the rest of the amazing editorial team here at Age of Empathy, I want to wish you a wonderful month ahead of writing, reading…and feasting, of course.
