After Struggling With Insomnia For Years, I’ve Finally Found A Cure
I can’t even believe it.
I’ve struggled with insomnia for almost 5 years.
Every time I’d go to sleep, my mind would start overthinking every detail of every situation I went through that day. Even worse, it would start imagining destructive scenarios in the future (like the death of a loved one, or an airplane crash on my next vacation).
I’m very aware of the root cause of my anxiety. Growing up in a dysfunctional family taught me to never relax — I had to be prepared for everything, all the time. How else would I survive the chaos around me?
Unfortunately, I know I’m not alone.
It’s very difficult to feel safe, calm, and supported when we’ve spent years in survival mode. Our nervous system is so dysregulated that it has no idea of how to find safety. Even if there are no threats, it feels the need to be prepared for future (imaginary) threats.
I’ve spent the last years trying to find ways to relieve stress and anxiety. Some things helped, others were a waste of money. But nothing provided me the relief I needed… Until a few months ago.
So here’s my holy grail.
(Disclaimer: I’m simply sharing what has worked for me. We’re all different, so please do your own research as I did mine).
CBD Oil With Melatonin

I’m just someone who knows how difficult life can be when you’re anxious all the time, so I want to share with you what finally worked for me.
Two years ago, I decided to try CBD oil. I had read about how amazing it could be for anxiety, and I was desperate for something that would calm me down. My anxiety was starting to affect my physical health and I was tired of wasting my money on things that didn’t work.
In case you don’t know, CBD oil does not make you high. It is extracted from the cannabis plant, but it has no THC, which is the component that creates the state of euphoria. CBD oil only has CBD (the therapeutic, relaxing component).
I took it every morning and every night. It worked! The problem was that the bottle was very small (10ml) and only lasted for 2 weeks. If I kept on using it, it would become a very expensive habit. At the time, I was in the process of moving out of my parents’ house and every penny made a difference.
However, a few months ago I had a few complicated nights, so I decided to try it again now that I’m financially secure.
This time, I bought CBD oil with melatonin. Bigger bottle (30 ml), same price — and this combination is specifically designed to help you fall asleep.
Let me tell you. IT WORKS. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
I can’t even tell you how relieved I am to finally find something that works almost instantaneously.
Of course, it’s important to keep in mind that I also implemented other habits to manage my anxiety (taking care of my nutrition, having a night routine that makes me feel calm and grounded, being careful about the content I consume right before going to bed…). However, the CBD oil made all the difference.
If you want to find long-term relief, it’s crucial to at least identify the root cause of your anxiety so that you can process your emotions and make sense of your experiences.
When it comes to mental health, there are quick fixes. However, it is possible to find tools and techniques that provide immediate relaxation.
