Advice

The word that left, From the lips of Gods, Became commandments, Things to live by.
The words that leave, From the people who, Care and caress you, Becomes advice.
While the connotation, We associate with it, Is the darkness of the moon, Rather than its light.
But what we see, Is the connotation, Rather than the care, Rather than the emotions.
We get angry, Aggressive, Don’t teach me, How to live.
That’s what we say, We say but not feel, They feel but not say, Words left unsaid.
Come forth the next, Feel the emotions, Not hear the words, Advice will be felt not heard.
Words tender as buds, Will bloom flowers, In your heart, Rather thorns you thought.
Advice will prod you into, Action if not by words, But then by heart, Wonders will happen anyway.
