ADHD’s Organized Chaos
“ADHD is not a disability, it is just a different ability.” — Unknown

Did you ever walk into an appointment just to be told you had the wrong date?
Do you often forget where you placed something that just was in your hand?
Do you jump from task to task to realize hours had passed without any real progress accomplished?
We all have had those off days! Imagine this happening to you every day with dozens of other tiny details being missed, miscalculated, and overlooked. Despite all of your best efforts, every day ends as a roller coaster of successes and failures. Consistently struggling to accomplish daily tasks that other moms and wives seem to do with ease. This is what an adult, a mom with ADHD lives through each day. This is what I live with each day.
My Mind Is Organized Chaos
Organized chaos by definition: “A situation in which there seems to be a lot of confusion, lack of organization, which makes one surprised when results are successful.” (https://dictionary.cambridge.org)
My Household Is A Reflection Of My Mind
- One Room Spotless, One a mess, Inbetween is the rest.
- Some tasks are perfectly completed, many imperfectly.
- Inconsistent productivity from day-to-day.
- Missed appointments, e-mails, and Tupperware lids.
Nothing is in its place, but knowing where everything is!

I Am Not A Train Wreck — I AM A Misunderstood Masterpiece!
A mind of mush, a heart of gold,
Lenient with most, values are bold.
A ship that is not tight but filled with pirates,
Never silence — always riots.
Too much clutter creates so much mess,
Never-ending to-do list torches stress.
Always tending to everyone’s needs,
Their breathing, their fed, always clean and rewarded for good deeds.
I am only one person with a different mind.
Not a hot mess or trainwreck — to my magic & masterpiece, they are all blind!
“My thoughts are like butterflies they fly away” — unknown
Blessed with the power to view the world in such a unique way!
