I love challenges. I often said when I taught yoga, “What doesn’t challenge you won’t change you.” I try to pause and observe what is happening whenever I feel resistance. Do I need to correct my behavior? Is there an area I need improvement in? Is there someone draining my energy? I typically begin with those self-reflecting questions and then dive deeper within.

Challenges lead to growth.

Warren Brown recently wrote a prompt, How to Add Value to Everyday Life. That was very thought-provoking for me. Do I add value to my life every day, and if so, how?

  • My goal in writing is to help awaken, inspire, and empower others to live their best life. Even when I do not submit a new article or an article is not published due to lag time, I hope that just one reader will find an article that helps them. That will add value to my life and theirs.
  • I post an inspiring quote each morning on Facebook, intending to inspire others and add value to their lives.
  • I try to be the best friend, mom, and person I can each day because my character adds value to my life.
  • I love random acts of kindness and believe deeply in giving to others. Selfishly, it brings me great joy, but I also know it has a tremendous ripple effect.

Final Thoughts

It turns out it wasn’t such a challenge to come up with how I add value to everyday life. It is nice to reflect on that, though. I appreciate the prompt, and that is the purpose of prompts. Annelise Lords is the Queen of prompts if you ask me. That woman knows how to stimulate my mind. She is amazing.

Please enjoy a few more articles from writers who inspire me. It is another small way to add value to this platform and spread the love. There are so incredibly many talented writers. I try to mention at least one in every article I write now that I am back. But today, I will highlight B.R. Shenoy, AJ, Dr. Gabriella Korosi thank you for the thought-provoking inspiration.
