Introduction to the book.

Addiction uncovered is a book about addiction stories from people who were touched by addiction by working in the field , lost family or friends, relatives, stories from health care professionals as well as individuals. This is the first introductory chapter. Hummingbird. It is a very emotional topic. The book is dedicated to my uncle and all of those lost because of addiction.

Sharing personal experiences and reading from the book Our Society: Addiction and More Uncovered about smoking. Honoring Heart Month in February and encouraging people to stop smoking.

This is the second chapter of the book Addiction Uncovered. This is the story of my uncle and the way we lost him. Still very emotional for me. This is a story from my life, about my family. A great loss. I had to pause multiple times during this recording to be able to tell the story.

Final thoughts on writing the book on Addiction. Hopes for the future. Sharing the idea of the way to live one’s life. My thoughts were written before the pandemic hit, now they are even more important.

I could have not done this without all the stories provided and the encouragement love and caring from my family and friends, nurses, doctors, counselors, teachers, professors, friends who are dealing with addiction and staying sober; and children, wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers of people who are dealing with addiction currently. Thank you to all the people who read this book while in progress to provide feedback, ideas, and encouragement for me to continue writing.
