Act-On What’s Within Your Control To Be Successful

Do not focus on what you cannot impact

What’s within your control?

This is the question that keeps coming back to me as I look at our situation during this period of the pandemic.

So much is not within our control.

Determining what is now within your power to act upon is the first step to being productive today and in the more immediate future.

Too much thinking about what may occur during rapid times of change can be a waste of time.

Work at what is within your control.

Lesson to Learn

Determine what is within your control.

Work on the items within your control.

Let the others fade for now.

This will help you navigate your day-to-day and ease your mind.

Questioning what is within your sphere of influence, and what is not, can clear the air and allow you to let unrealistic options go by the wayside.

Answer for Me

When I am confused or stressed, I can forget what is really within my control.

I can begin to work on solutions that are not possible because many variables are out of my control.

This ends up being a waste of my time.

It also spends precious mind-power on scenarios I cannot pursue.

It is imperative that I find my realistic options, take control, and move forward.

I have to refocus on what I can control. I determine the actions I can take.

I set aside items that I should not consider and let them go.

Action

Take action on what you can control.

Attempt to set aside thoughts and fears that are not within your control.

Use this way of clarification to enhance your effectiveness and your happiness.

When you worry about what is out of your control, it robs you of your time and mind space.

Instead, focus like a laser on what you can do and control so you can get those things done.

Daily Habits

Collect those tasks you need to work on daily.

Decide what you can control, and what you cannot.

Set aside the things that are not within your control. Let them go for now.

Schedule the items that are within your control.

Let your mind be free of as much worry and concern as possible.

Do this by understanding what is within your control and what is not.
