About my end-year reflection as a Medium writer and my new book.
As 2021 comes to its closing, I'm taking myself on a short end-of-year reflection, some statistics, and very good news at the end.
It's been nearly two years since the world entered this terrible pandemic that has shaped every aspect of our private and professional lives.
Like many people, I have faced some very serious personal challenges this year due to covid-19. Still, I am also grateful to have had the opportunity to work for two amazing companies during the year, which allowed me to go through this period feeling my family and myself protected and safe.
This year, I changed my job to a company and role where I can express and exceed my full potential.
I also feel extremely fortunate to be recognized as a thought leader in an incredible global community working to solve some of the most pressing business challenges with Artificial Intelligence.
This is extremely important to me, and I intend to continue devoting energy and time because it represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to improve myself, the teams I collaborate with, and the AI ecosystem I belong to.
From every interaction, meeting, presentation, conference, webinar, or summit in which I have the opportunity to participate, I learned, connected, and improved myself. This year, despite the pandemic's changes and restrictions, I had numerous opportunities to engage with top AI leaders who shared their expertise and insights.
