Bio

Hello there! My name is Giorgos (pronounced like yo-rgos but the second g sounds more like the letter W) and I’m from Greece. I’m 24 and I dropped from software-engineering university to follow my dream of being a freelance writer.

I’m really new to writing though. I'm committed to it and I love the community of Medium. The place where it all started for me!

I love humor and puns — My last name could be PUNtsios instead.

When I’m not writing, I enjoy hiking in the mountain(where I found these glorious Akita dogs in the picture above).

I also watch a ton of movies (closing 1000 movies actually) and some TV series. Crying watching drama movies is my favorite activity.

I play the guitar and listen to a lot of music. Progressive rock is my favorite genre (I wish that someone knows about this in here haha!).

I also am a fan of photography. Although I’m using my smartphone for them, I can still capture my vision.

In the near future, I am aiming to buy equipment to up my photography game(Of course after being a successful writer!)

I’m also aiming to create a Patreon soon, for future supporters of my vision of photography+writing.

Sometimes I’m having my best friend help me with my vision. And he is great with it! Check his work. I’m promoting him more than me…damn haha!

When it comes to writing though, I like to write about everything. I’m writing mostly about self-improvement as of now and some philosophy.

I also share some stories that affect me in some way. We all have some relation to our lives. I strongly believe that by sharing our memorable experiences we can learn from others. So I write about mine.

I try to speak from my heart, as I’m really emotional by nature.
