About Me — Diana C.
Creative thinker, ambitious writer, intuitive & passionate human being.

Hi!
Who am I?
My Latin name speaks of luminosity and fruitfulness, which are accurate descriptions, given the fact that I am someone who strives to light the path to the edge of another Universe, where courage, resilience and strength prevade. Perhaps this desire is linked to being a descendant of powerful conquerers? Who knows. I surely do my very best to birth words that gently touch and soothe as many souls as possible. I may fail miserably at doing so sometimes, but I’ve learned to be okay with having my weakest moments spilled out on full display.
I’m 23 but this number speaks nothing of me. When I think of how old I am, all I see is that I’m neither too young or too old to go after what I want in life. What is that, exactly?
What do I do?
I spill out words. Empowering ones, I hope. But you see, writing on Medium goes beyond just writing. It’s my way of showing up, every day, in spite of silent hurts and pains. It’s my way of fighting for myself and keeping my head above the water when violent waves attempt to drown me.
I know that everyone fights battles no one else can understand. This knowing prompted me to create a publication which is meant to serve as a reminder that words are comprised of light powerful enough to guide us out of our own darkness. I think darkness is beautiful. Light is beautiful. One thing is certain: Neither change the color of our heart.
Why do I write?
I hit rock bottom hard, landed brutally many times. Rarely did I ever fall as I pleased, but rather as was needed. My work on here is a constant reminder of that — I want people to know that it’s okay to fall and shatter to pieces, for that fall only prepares them for their rise.
I’m a witness to the glory in my own story and that of many others. I give myself permission to expand beyond routines, self doubt and limits, while encouraging others to challenge themselves. We all survive in different ways. Is it always graceful? No. Is it always ugly? Also no. But one thing that I know for sure is that it’s always brave.
What are my goals?
My goal is to continue evolving mentally, spiritually, physically and emotionally, while inspiring others to do the same. I am someone who believes true wisdom and connection to our intuition can sometimes be more powerful that any credentials and certifications.
I strive to inspire by being myself: deep like the ocean, comforting, unapologetic and an ever complicated puzzle of emotions.
I believe that one defines oneself by reinvention. To not be like your parents. To not be like your friends. To be yourself. To cut yourself out of stone. — Henry Rollins
