Make it short

Let’s make it short and sequential. The long version takes too long to tell Step right to the Garden of Eden Right to the bottom of the wishing well

I saw you in the limelight of laughter Life’s too short for tarrying for a while I heard your dulcet tones on the telephone line Each word formed an everlasting smile

Slumber in a state of understanding Your eyelashes flutter in the dawn Rapid eye movement is clicking Attached to your long and languorous yawn

Who knows where we’ll be tomorrow We’ll follow the sun into the night We’ll land in a world of high rollers Roulette wheels and silver-spangled light

We’ll walk the talk in elevators. And settle in between the satin sheets One step closer to heaven Far above receipts down in the streets

The world will take on an aura Of speculation, mystery and love Far out floating over the Swan River Are daydreams radiating from above

Hurry, Curry, and clear blue waters. Fresh sea air and islands in the sun Sea horses galloping over the ocean A stampede of white steeds on the run

I will hold the loose rein. And watch another day slowly disappear. New wonders are there for tomorrow. I wonder if you’re ready to appear.
