Abandon Escape
The growing scream of inequality

Where have you gone to, leaving your boat on my shore? Nothing will matter, when I take both your oars.
Abandon escape, there is no place you may go. Hidden from safety, your body will be torn.
Privilege wealth, everything bought and then sold. Controller of dreams, you’ve washed up on my shore.
Our life you have scorned. Gifting us ash we adorn. We turn from the cross, bringing swords to cast stones.
Your power has grown, turning paper into gold. Claiming the unknown, for us all to adore.
Where have you gone to, leaving your boat on my shore? You’re no longer welcome. Your life I will take.
