Rhymin’ Crimes
Limericks on politics
There was a man who was so crooked His soul and his spirit were hook-ed He lived in a tower And bitched by the hour And hopefully soon he’ll be book-ed
This same man was awf’lly deluded With enemies he oft colluded His “base” stayed convinced Their minds had been rinsed They just wanted to be included
One more on this man who pulled faces He thought that his cards were all aces But gads, what a fool An insufferable tool Many he drew to dark places
There once was a man like a turtle His mindset, unerringly hurtful He shat on his core They begged him for more And so he continued to burgle
There was a man, selfish and stupid All reason and care were occluded He bailed out when needed He lied and he cheated His morals appeared to be fluid
A man sold his soul at a discount A power campaign, for which to mount Many like him Face a future quite grim His misdeeds now have a body-count
There was a female, so clearly inane Caring, she just couldn’t feign She was so sleazy She made people queasy She dearly loved inflicting pain
There once was a water-eyed cretin Who thought that he served as a beacon But he had no spine He just toed the line His rep he continued to cheapen
There once was a boot-licking guy Who lied to all, right in the eye He worshiped just money No matter how bloody Did barely enough to get by
A woman, so base and benighted Conspiracies made her excited She worshipped her guns At the top of her lungs I wish she could be uninvited There was a man, slimy and smug The power for him was a drug He followed the cash Human rights, he did slash Threw them into the hole that he dug
A man with a penchant for young ones Makes money by wagging his tongue/s He pays a big lawyer A legal destroyer But soon, to the law, he’ll succumb
Politics usually are awful Behind the scenes, often unlawful Why throw support When progress, they thwart It’d be cool if some leaders weren’t scornful
The Constitution says we’re equal I don’t think we’re getting a sequel So let’s think this through And vote out the crew Of those who have shit on the Eagle
