A Writing Challenge For 100 Days

Embarking on the journey — Episode 01

A great initiative by Dr Mehmet Yildiz that you can find here. It requires new and aspiring writers to embark on a journey to publish 100 stories in 100 days. In fact, I was on the lookout for a little whipping of this sort myself for some time. Tough love perhaps, this is what I need the most.

Whether it is a carrot or a stick, only time will tell.

Okay, challenge accepted. Now, step 2. What is it going to be about? So, as I was scratching my head while pondering for a nice theme to follow in these hundred stories, I got an idea. Eureka!!! Amongst other things to talk about, how about sharing one tip (or more) that might help other writers to improve their writing, viewership, fan following, and so on? But not essentially to improve writing. It could be anything to make their journey as a writer simpler or faster.

Tip for the day

  1. Try 5–45–10 marathons. 5 minutes preparation, 45 minutes writing, and 10 minutes break if you plan to start another story. A great writing tip by author/editor Ann Venkataraman. Check out the complete story here.

That’s it for today, folks. See you tomorrow.
