A Writer’s Work Is Never Complete
Constantly iterate
When I started self-publishing my books years ago, I would go back through my books and edit them in subsequent years. I found many content changes that would better serve my audience, whenever reviewing published pieces of work a year later.
As you start writing more and more books, it becomes more tedious to review every book you’ve published. However, it’s good practice to review and consistently iterate previously written work as you find the time to do it. Editing old work will enhance the reader experience, but it will also make you a better writer.
Both will help develop your writing skills, whether you're writing or editing.
