This is my introduction.

First of all, I want to say thank you. Thank you to Dr. Mehmet Yildiz, B. A. Cumberlidge., and Timothy Key.

The warm welcome has been beyond amazing. My heart is filled with gratitude.

So this is me. Or at least a part of me. I am a person with many colors of personality. The one above is goofy. I love being a child and exploring the world. I love people and I am such a curious soul.

That has led me to travel and meet amazing people all over the world. I have lived in four countries and I speak four languages.

I was born in the Czech Republic, I spent 25 in Sweden, and I now live in Spain. I love the beach, I love yoga, I love my family and my friends. I love being in nature and bathing in the ocean. I love animals and I am a vegetarian. I love reading, dancing, and I am sensitive and highly creative.

But even with all my traveling and speaking different languages, my favorite language is still the one that I use when I write on a piece of paper ( Yep, still old-school). It’s true, I almost never go anywhere without a notebook.

Writing has always been a part of me

Already when I was really young, I got flashes of poems and ideas for short stories. I never understood why and I never imagined that I would one day do it for a living.

Mostly because I never believed that it was something I could even pursue. But like everything else that is a part of you, it never goes away.

So here I am today, after leaving my friends and family in Sweden more than a year ago, writing away.

It’s been a long journey and it still is but I believe that writing will never leave me again. I’m just not the same when I don’t write.

My mission in writing and in life

I write what is hidden deep inside of me. Even the quick flashes that often still occur are a part of my soul.

I don’t have any education in writing but I am constantly evolving as I learn more and more to become better at what I do.

At the age of 28, I started diving into personal development after a painful breakup. That was the beginning of my self-discovery and healing journey.

I was still lost for many years but that’s when it all started.

At the age of 30, I decided to change once and for all. I still knew so little about myself and what I wanted to do in life. And I had absolutely no idea how to love myself or believe in myself.

So thanks to my desire for freedom, and my curiosity, I moved to Canada and decided to let go of toxic behavior. No more working 12-hour shifts in restaurants stressed out of my mind.

No more drinking and numbing my pain. No more unhealthy food eating and emotional outbursts.

During the years that followed, I healed so many parts of myself. I barely remember the person I was but I am still grateful for her.

I’m still scared sometimes when I put myself out there but I feel that I owe it to myself and others to show up and be brave. To speak of my journey and what I have learned.

I have learned that a lot of things are possible when we dive deep into our hearts and our souls. When we don’t let fear take over and find the strength to change and pursue what we love — no matter how challenging.

I want to inspire people. I want to help heal the world or at least a part of it, and I want to help others discover their true power within.

I was once so lost, feeling I had no power. I realized that this belief was beyond false.

So my writing is directed to those who have ever felt lonely, who have struggled to believe in themselves and love themselves. And those who still do.

It is dedicated to those who need to know that someone is listening and that they are not alone.

But it is also for those who just need a break and want to lose themselves in a world of possibilities — fiction or non-fiction.

I have found ways to be grateful, to live happily almost every day, to believe in myself and to love like never before.

I have found ways to be healthy, to become emotionally intelligent, to be more empathetic, and grow spiritually and mentally.

That is what I am sharing.

Not that I am in any way better than you, but because I want to share what I have found is possible, along with the joy that I feel, and the love and dreams that are in my heart.

I write fiction sometimes and poetry where all those deep emotions and thoughts are put together.

Some things I have studied and learned from others, but I never write what I don’t believe in or haven’t applied to my own life.

I’m fascinated by human behavior, psychology, neuroscience, and spirituality. I am fascinated by the universe and the energy within us and in everything around us. I dive into that a lot too.

So I put aside my fears of being raw and authentic because I don’t want to be selfish in that way. I have so much love and wisdom to share and I want to help others to tap into their power, find their voices, and love freely.

Fly butterflies, fly!

And thank you again, I am so excited and so grateful to be a part of this journey with all of you!

Oh, and yes, there is a book coming up too this year so stay tuned for that.

So if you want to build a meaningful relationship with another fellow writer, or just like what I write about and feel that it resonates with you, follow me, and let’s explore this journey together.

I can’t wait to know more about who you are!

Much Love,

Simona
