WRITING PROMPTS

A Word A Day

A One-Word prompt for every day of the month

Hi kids!!!

I want to try a little something new this month. It might work, it might not. But let’s see what happens.

This round of prompts is all single words. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create something from each prompt, each day. Okay, I’m not going to make you stick to that rule, but it might give you a little something to keep you going from day to day.

With February being the month of love, we’re going to base our words around the sensual. Or something all mushy like that. So here we go, my friends. Your One-Word prompts for the month of February.

I want to thank Ravyne Hawke for letting me give this a go. Please keep in mind this is not Ravyne’s monthly theme. This is just a little something extra to keep you writing every day.

I’ll also still be doing the weekly prompts. Don’t worry, those aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. I’m still in awe over the sheer number of ideas that come out of those prompts.

I have a bunch more ideas for writing prompts, but I’m trying really hard not to overwhelm any of you, or myself. Let’s see how well this goes and I may work on something of this nature in the months to come. Creating these prompts is as inspiring to me as running with them is to all of you.

Hey, be sure to check out Ravyne’s January theme and Joanne Olivieri’s photo prompts. It’s amazing what an image can bring to mind.

Remember, all the prompts posted on Promptly Written can be used whenever the mood strikes you. A prompt posted in the past may be the fantastic fantasy of the future.

Happy Writing!
