Writer’s Prompt — Poetry

A Wonderful Illumination of Gestural Rhetoric

For Joe, Sherry, P.G., Suzanne and Rasheed thus far!

Do you understand the title? Me neither.

Do you know what the word “Gesticulate” means? me neither, until now, thanks to Joe and Suzanne, and other wonderful writers.

As it turns out, it’s not a Texan-Yoga move that George and I thought P.G. just made up … I mean invented.

Anyway, taking Joe’s lead, I’ve chosen a poetic response. I hope you’ll welcome my interpretation of Texan-Yoga:

Gesticulate

What mate? ‘Gest’ … ‘tic’ … you… what? ‘Late’ for who?

Do-dah-doo!

From me to you: G-greet it (Or George it) E-earn it S-swim it (Or Suzanne it) T-think it (Or Timothy it) I-initiate it (Or Illuminate it) C-curate it U-urge it L-love it A-adore it T-try it, and Elate

But don't ignore.

To Illuminate is to Gesticulate!

Eerr … Dr Mehmet, can we add Gesticulation to our values?
