A Woman Who Hates Democrats

She rails against President Biden and President Obama

Politics is a divisive issue. With the two major political parties always at odds with each other, there is a lot of hate that spews forth on the political scene. Since elected officials who have opposing views seem to not be willing to compromise, that feeling spreads to the public. They feel entitled and free to make very derogatory comments about the people on the opposite side.

Hate is a strong word. People should not hate, but many people hate.

A woman I know obviously hates Democrats (of which I am one). I have answered a lot of Facebook posts from other “friends” who have opposing views. I have not responded to her hateful comments. It is probably best not to do so. Having a dialogue with her would not do any good. Although her hate for Democrats is clear, she also hates other things and people. Democrats are her biggest target.

There is no way of changing the mind of someone like her. She shares news articles and makes brief responses, sharing her opinion. Her views are extremely inflammatory to all Democrats. She expresses a lot of hate for Nancy Pelosi and other Democratic leaders.

She is obviously a huge Trump fan. She thinks he was the greatest President ever. It is unbelievable that Trump is a billionaire who bullies, boasts, and lies, but he can have so many devoted followers who are lower-middle-class people like she is.

She wrote flowery compliments to Melania Trump while condemning Michelle Obama’s looks. It sounded like racism, although it is doubtful she would admit to being a racist.

This woman belongs to a church that espouses love and acceptance of all people, as all churches do. She proclaims to believe in the teachings of her church. It does not appear that she follows them.

Hate should not be such a big part of life. Unfortunately, hate may be expressed regularly regarding politics. More love is needed.

Donald Trump seems to not plan to leave the public scene soon. His followers continue to support him and his views religiously. He has great influence on them. This woman is a dedicated fan of Trump, along with millions of others.
