The Great Biscuit Battle
A Short Form experiment
As Grace stood in line waiting for her favorite café’s seasonal pumpkin spice biscuits, she started to get nervous. If they ran out before she got to the counter, she didn’t know what she’d do. She’d been waiting all year for this.
Her heart sank as she witnessed the last biscuit being removed from the display case. She watched as it was bagged up and handed to the lady in front of her.
Before she could even think about it, Grace jumped on her. She pushed the woman to the ground, grabbed the biscuit, and shoved it in her mouth.
This 36th drabble is written as part of the “100 Story Challenge” by @Zane Dickens.
This experiment was originally done by Grim Flandango. The word today is BISCUIT.
