A wish for an exclusive pact with Karma

When time yields the very best,

I often acquired without thankfulness,

when the same time authored dread,

I lamented on the reversal.

Observing the many ceaseless effects,

as they flow continually from pores of prior causes,

oddly discerning why a distinct fruit came my way,

realized the inconceivability to decipher noble nature’s smokescreen.

I consciously choose to make causes,

began to embrace the results,

allowing outcomes to flow through instead without any resistance,

yet there appeared no relief from life’s rigor.

Then it dawned on me that,

to reach the assured shores,

one must endure performing,

subdue the ego until naught,

make this an exclusive pact with Karma.
